I realize you were probably keeping the original versions from LonE, but I wonder if you would want to include the scans for the character song CD that the previous Gurren Lagann torrent had included.

What happened? Did the file names change? I downloaded this this morning now I can't seed it because everything's changed. How can I update this without affecting my ratio?

You can't really. You can go download several of them from their original sources, but some of them you can only get through this torrent it seems (the biggest one being the two discs for the original soundtrack which seem to differ almost entirely from the ones in the previous torrent, at least when I tried to copy them over anyway).

The ones in the previous torrent were rips from an unknown source with largely incorrect tags. I made my own rip with correct tags.

cant download 3 of the flacs due to the insane folder structure and file name length

One solution is to move the folder to the root of the drive and rename it something short so that the long file names fit.

IE. D:\GL Music\[LonE]_Various_Artists_-_GURREN_LAGANN_BEST_SOUND_[FLAC]\SOUNDTRACK DISC\01 Rap wa Kan no Tamashii da! Muri wo Toushite Douri wo Kettobasu! Ore Tachi dai Gurren Dan no Theme wo Mimi no Ana Kappo Jitte yo~ Kukiki Yagare!!.flac

Although I do sort of agree that trimmed down names would be more convenient, but it should still work with something like the example.

When i was copying these 2 files from 1 PC to another through a flash, i had to make their names shorter or they coudln't be transferred.

Is there any way to change them back to the original filename? Can't seed otherwise too. It accepts the name only till the red parts.

Try using the Relocate feature in uTorrent.

I pointed to the same folder and all. But since filenames are different, it's redownloading the 2 files. But nevermind. It's just a couple of files ~50MB. Won't hurt. Though it would be good if we didn't have such huge filenames.

I think you're misunderstanding. Relocate != Change File Location :x
If you right click on the file in the file list when the torrent is stopped, there is an option called relocate. This will allow you to browse for that file. As long as the hashes for the files are the same, they will seed.
