This is not hentaiand I guess in way its not anime either
this is Tezuka´s and Mushi´s respond to accusations that Japanese animation cannot produce an art animation feature
they did, but it was not profitable

Tezuka was only involved in the first two mushi films AFAIK.
Well being the head of Mushi Production,
I guess he was involved in everything

Tezuka left Mushi Productions after Cleopatra and formed the studio Tezuka productions

Well, well, well... what do we have here? I fixed a few things for nitpickers. First, the ASS file didn't have the proper character encoding. If you have a different language as default (I have Japanese localization for example), the "special" chars like letters with accents showed up as random kanji. Even Aegisub askes for encoding when you open the file. So changed to UTF-8.
The credits at the beginning were not centered horizontally. Mainly because the script had the wrong resolution. Changed to 640x480 and aligned a few of the titles.
I liked the French subs styling, so I copied it to the Eng subs (like the songs that now appear at the bottom with default style and italics). It's more readable at least to me now, and looks better too. I also corrected 2 or 3 spellings (like the "Sadness" in the title). The TL notes have the same style as normal subs but with {\an8} and italics. I also made the first note about bubonic plague 2 secs longer. I don't know how necessary the whole note is, but as there wasn't any flashy video on screen to obstruct, making it longer doesn't hurt for all that text xD
Well, I think that's all. Take it, leave it, your choice. I think it's better this way :3
EDIT [March 20, 2012]: As MU is no more, here's a new link for the subs. It's not the same file as the old one mentioned in this post, as I ditched this encode when I found the DVD (which I remuxed into MKV). I think I only converted it to SRT (as ASS was pointless) with no further changes, it was too long ago, I don't remember. Anyway, I just extracted the subs from my remux and checked. What I originally commented here stands, so this should be the same as my old ASS but in plain SRT format. Again, take it or leave it

(CRC in the name matches the SRT file)
