Dirty Pair TV  

OKay.... so does this explain why the torrentand files I have do not seem to match up with this one?
I have what appears to be the same subs and encodes, but most of the file sizes are a little different, and the checksums do not match at all.
In total, my files are about 800MB larger than this torrent.  Is this the reason why?
I find it hard to believe that removing the OP/ED would amount to that much discrepancy.
Can anyone enlighten me?

EDIT:  So it seems that most of the filesize discrepancy can be found in the first 10 episodes (the E-D encodes).
The files I have (from nyaa) are significantly larger.  I'm curious as to how these files "shrank".  Were they re-encoded at some point?
Presumably, the other 16 eps non-matching checksums can be attributed to the removal of the Russian subs.
But I'm curious if anything else may have been done.
Don't mean to seem like a whiner.... just trying to understand what is going on, and decide which files I should keep.

The biggest difference probably comes from where the first ten episode were gotten from. In this torrent the first ten eps were grabbed directly from one of E-D's IRC bots and were not modified in any way. It was only the other 16 eps that were modified but only in the removal of the Russian subs and the editing of the English subs.
It could be that YuriM added something extra to the original E-D releases of the first 10 eps in their torrent. Don't know what they could add that would increase the size that much though.

Thanks for the info.  It's hard to say what the precise source of the files in that nyaa torrent might have been.
I'm going to go ahead and dl some of these files, and try to do a comparison over the weekend, just for curiosity's sake.
If I can figure out what's what, I'll post it here.
And btw, I don't think I've said it yet, but thanks for the upload!

Also, I noted on ANN yesterday that this has recently been picked up by a North Amnerican distributor, so those who want this may wish to dl it sooner, rather than later, in case it gets blacklisted....

I though that the anime have 24 eps .
is ep 25,26 ova or something ?

Eps 25 and 26 were originally going to be part of the TV anime but for unknown reasons, at least unknown to me, the show was canceled after 24 eps were shown and the last two were produced later on and included as an OVA.

Would it be at all possible to add the op/eds back in? I also have been waiting more than 20 years to see this and having these corrections would make them a truly worthy archive to share and enjoy for the future...I hope its not too much of a request, but if there was a chance you could do it, you would have my heartfelt gratitude...
