Hahaha, I never noticed that before. I wonder why they didn't just dub it to go "T-Minus 9, 8, 7..." instead of leaving it screwed up like that.

Thats it! I can't take it anymore. I have to know if Toonami actually aired that part uncensored while young (I was 7 I think?) elementary school kids were watching it.

Actually when I went to school our sex education class basically amounted to "Don't have sex or you'll die from burning genitals, and a child will be created. Also if you don't get circumcised your penis could end up closing in and you'll pee into the end, causing it to fill up like a balloon."
We were taught abstinence and our teacher stood in front of the television during the state required birth video so that we could not see her unshaved vagina (which was oddly enough explained to us that they were unable to take the time to shave her)
With all that said, thank you for this upload. I love Outlaw Star.
Our sex education back when i was in school, we went to a hospital, and watched a woman give birth (behind a invisible mirror?), at least that was what they did for the guys, for the woman well i dont know. And i must tell you it is the most horrific thing i've ever seen, i dont think i've been more scar'd in my life more than i was when i saw that "thing" just pop out of her.
@Anime - Oh and this animes a good one, i have the dvds, not the digitally remastered, and yeah their was swearing. I wish they didnt remove that, because it really takes alot from the characters personality, if you ask me that is.

Xtras, it was always censored ALWAYS. Toonami never played ep 23. The only time they ever screwed up was when they forgot to draw the bathing suit on Rain in G-Gundam during the preview for the last episode, and they had that fixed next airing

This isn't too similar to Cowboy Bebop is it? It sounds interesting but I did not like that anime whatsoever.

It depends on the reason you disliked it.Unless you are looking for a serious anime though, I doubt you would hate Outlaw Star. It is just a fun series.

Sigh damn, I just recently finished watching this and it made me sad! Brings back so many memories. Such a great series. Childhood memories.
Hmm anybody hear about a second season? Apparently they were gonna make one but they never did. I saw forums about it that date to 2002, so sad, saw so many hope in their comments. =/

OK I got the G_C set, but this is dual audio so I'll get it too thx and yeah it was a good dub if memory serves me. This & Cowboy bebop had good english "actors"
