Hmm, I downloaded the Codec program and everything, but it still won't let me watch Chinese Ghost story. It won't let me watch it on windows media player or winamp or any other player on here. ;-;

I agree. Grab the CCCP pack from the link at the top and install the Zoom Player during the install and use that. Seems to work for pretty much everything I throw at it.

Whoa, this movie has some bad subbing and dubbing probs...

If you use VLC player this movie works perfectly fine with the subbing or the dubbing. I've had no errors and enjoy this movie thoroughly.

About the sound quality, you should use CoreAAC to decode it and if you have SB Audigy with CMSS then I suggest you turn off 6>2 downmix.

Nice show. I assume this is based on an actual Chinese folk tale. The cgi was very vivid, and some bits may even have been live. Unfortunately it didn't blend well and was more of a distraction. I would have preferred to see it all in standard animation. Also, it did seem a bit long, especially for what I assume is mainly a kids' show.
Still, the story was interesting and entertaining --exactly the sort of thing Di--ey would like to ruin-- and kids' show or not, the ending gave me smily goosebumps and more than made up for any weaknesses elsewhere.
Definitely worth one watching.
