Ayashi no Ceres [a4e]  

I am not having trouble with episodes 2-4 but I am with episode 19... I tried downloading it again but had the same problem. The other episodes work fine for me, is there any way to resolve the problem with episode 19?

I did use mega codec pack, but I found k-lite better. How about give it a try?

i have an advise to those that do not want to use alot of packs of codecs (like me!!) and are having problems of seeing this anime, as well as some other animes. Download Matroska pack full, Matroska Splitter, ffdShow. Install them in the order of:
1st ffdshow
2nd Matroska Pack
3rd Matroska Splitter (No need for AVI support)

If all goes well u can play the anime into the Windows Media Player

i was wondering, did a4e translate the japanese audio into their own english subtitles? or did they just rip out the dubbed english subbtitles? what im saying is, does the subbtitles look original ir does it correspond to the dubbed version? cuz if it does thats probably whats meesing with the audio / subbtitle lagg. sorta like what they did with fruits basket which makes me not wana even consider dling it.

These files are pretty poor quality.  I've seen a few releases and the best one around atm seems to be from #anime-infection@irc.rizon.net , that group just finished the series and the quality is excellent!  But the reason i reccomend them is they have high speed xdcc bots and direct downloads of eps 13+:

what a terrible anime series. from the poor quality of the animation, sound effects, music, to the badly voiced dialogue (the dubbing is even worse), it just screams 'low budget' at you.

@ mecmax: a4e is a DVD-ripping group, which means they take official DVDs of licensed series and make dual-audio encodes of them--they don't do any translations themselves.  I can't speak for the quality of these files, but I did see Ayashi no Ceres on DVD and I don't think it's terrible. The animation isn't the most fluid ever, but it's very pretty and done near the end of the hand-drawn era.
I'd recommend it to anyone that likes Yuu Watase (author of this manga and Fushigi Yuugi, Alice 19th, Imadoki, and Zettai Kareshi) or who enjoys ultradramatic angsty shoujo anime.  If this doesn't describe you, then you may want to skip it.

DmonHiro, I completely agree. I'd like to add that the CCCP is the only player and filter pack I've ever used for watching anime and movies and I've never once had any problems with it from any format.

Someone come and DL it please or I'll never get a 1:1 DL/UL ratio  :'-(

Well, my opinion about this series is that I wasn't expected so much emotional charge inside, and it is really good. But I have seen better than this one for sure. Not necessarely to keep it in collection, but worth to watch. It kinda reminds me about something I've forget about long long time ago...

Thanks for offering this anime. I used to have the whole series on DVD. Then moved and of course it had to disappear somehow   But now I can finish watching it. Will be sure to seed
