I can play it smoothly, unfortunately the audio is very jerky. Does it have to do with a slow PC? Mine is only P3..

Ok, so audio gets all screwed up after I hit the Matroska pack episodes. WTF? I have matroska installed, and either one audio stream or the other works, so I'm having to watch some of them in Japanese (my preferred way, the japanese voice actors are soooo much better), or in english. How do I fix it, or is the encoding just screwed up and I wasted my time downloading these? I'm awfully dissapointed, cause all of the other episodes were perfect.

I got some problems with the MKV files, too. And I'm sure I've got all the right codecs. It does play the files, but the sound doesn't match with the video. And when I played them on another computer (a faster one), there were no problems at all. So I think it has to do with a slow PC >_<

VLC has problems with MKVs. You have to copy the file into a directory with no other files in it, then play it from there.

I am having trouble with the MKV files. I use The Core Media Player. It does play the files but there is no sound :(
all the other files 1-57 worked perfectly.

No complaints as far as audio/video syncing goes, but after episode 59, there seems to be subtitles missing. It happens only for one sentence at a time, every couple of minutes or so. It hasn't happened with the previous a4e episodes I downloaded. I have had this same problem, though, with Rurouni Kenshin. The subtitles will just stop for a sentence, then resume. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Since the other episodes before these worked well, I don't know if it's a problem with the file, or a problem with my computer. I use GOM player, and besides this issue, everything has worked great on it.

Okay, I think that I figured out the problem, and it has nothing to do with the files themselves. The subtitles that don't show up in GOM do show up in VLC. So my best guess is that GOM doesn't completely like MKV, because the other time I had this problem, they were also MKV files. So I would suggest using VLC player once the MKV files start (episode 58 and onward).

GOM and VLC are stand alone players that use their internal codecs to decode files. However neither were made with anime nor films with sub in them, in mind. This is why the anime community generally frowns upon people using GOM and VLC player. The way they handle soft subs is pretty pathetic. Get, CCCP codec pack install it and use one of the two players that come with it. Link can be found in the torrent description.
