Admittedly, im not the most tech-savvy of people, but I had a little difficulty with this one! I usually use MPC-HC with the latest CCCP and it couldn't find the Japanese audio or the subtitle track. I had to rely on my emergency back-up player......VLC.
So now i'm faced with a hobson's choice; do I go for better quality video and English dubs, or slightly worse video quality and Japanese audio and subs. Hmmmmm........
You can switch the Audio tracks on the VLC player and for subtitles just go to the video section and change the subtitle track sorted ::D

Is it possible to switch the audio track from English to Japanese? The dubbing sucks, especially with the subs underneath.Of course it is! This is a dual audio release. The how depends on what video player or codec pack you are using.

For future reference, you can right click the Haali icon in your tray to pull up a list of tracks.

Great series. Wish they would have made more anime of Shonan Junai Gumi (pre GTO series about Onizuka's gang days). 5 OVA's wasn't enough. ONIBAKU 4 LIFE!!

I only had this problem in the first episode. After that, it worked normally in every episode after.

yeah its a late reply... switching between tracks in MPC-HC is easy
just go to the Navigate menu on top of the player, in the drop down menu you will see "Audio Language", click on it and you will see all audio options in the file

This show is one of the first and best shows I've watched. You should really give it a try if you haven't before.
