I can't recommend this enough... but it's not for everybody. those of us who like Nobuo Uematsu, early synth music (rick wakeman, kitaro, tangerine dream), classical music, and up-beat 70's music will have a natural soft spot for this stuff. there's a huge variety of moods and emotions with this selection, just like with the anime series it comes from (just compare the mind-f*ck 2nd movie "radical dreamer" with the space-quest-esque comedic whimsy of the first 40 episodes)

in my opinion, this is where all the video game composing talent was before there were 8/16/32-bit games. but if you're not a gamer, don't let that throw you off, because there's at least as much real, live performers as there is synth-work. occasionally they throw in a new arrangement of a popular classical melody most people have heard before, but mostly it's all superb original works I'll be listening to again and again

I'll keep this going at 5~10kb/sec for as long as there are people trying to get it; not much but it's all I can offer, and it will be consistent. now go and watch the series! Long Live Lum, and Rumiko Takahashi!
