Fushigi Yuugi|Mysterious Play [HL]  

I'm gonna grab this while it's Freeleach. Shame it's so big (for my hard drive anyway ), but I've read all the books so I desperately want to watch it. Not that I don't already have enough to watch. Thanks for this! The manga had me crying and laughing, so I hope this lives up to expectations.

It has some trouble keeping going, you might have to restart it a couple of times to get the series.

No matter how many times I try to rewatch this series, i couldnt keep watching untill the end  

Love this series! It's my first series where I cried so much. I still remember when my Mom asked why I was crying. I told her and she gave me 'are you crazy?' look. Ahh, the memories.

wow, i bought the sound track of this a loooooong time ago and i just ran into the whole season! awsome! somehow i always download random songs then the turn up on a lot of new anime i havnt seen yet. can you say fate?

you know what FUCK IT, i keep seeing this anime when im looking for other so ill have a look at it and when i finish watching it ill give some feedback.

ok i just finished watching the series and i five it a 8/10.

Its quit funny and the story is very good as well.
The plot made sense and the ending was good as well unlike some seies where they just leave you wondering wht the heck just  happend.

I became addicted to this back in the day. Great memories.

Added to my "to do" list.  Managed to find the box set of VHS awhile ago, but it's always nice to have a digital copy (especially with dual audio)
Great series!  One of the first Manga series I read.

I can't believe no one's done an H264 rip of this series yet.  Or at least an XVid MKV.  This is the same rip that been floating around the nets for ages, and besides being OGM, I've always found the subtitles to be slightly out of sync.  Still an amazing show, though.  Just musing to myself.

this anime is the very first reason why i found myself looking for other animes..i mean, im not into japanese culture but when i started watching it, i just cant stop searching for other good plot oriented ones..    

This one's very good. Never expected it to be as good as it turned out to be when I started watching this. Definite recommendation to those who like fantasy movies!

I got so into it, I watched this thing as if it were a single movie. Which means I marathon'd most of it. Which is kinda crazy considering this is about 20 hours worth of video material!

Assuming this hasn't been mentioned yet, if anyone is bothered by the subs being chronically off-sync on every video, here's a solution:

In media player classic, press O. In the options, go to subtitles from the left menu.
Set the "delay interval" to 500ms. Click apply and ok.

Now when you're watching, by pressing F1, it will put the subtitles offset to -500ms, which I finds puts them very well in sync.
Pressing F1 and F2 will adjust the offsync by -500 and +500 respectively, and the offset will be displayed in the bottom left (in the status bar. Ctrl+5 to enable it if you have it hidden).
